2. How it works
Write everyone's name on a slip; each person draws one — that is your monito (or monita). Keep it secret.
Give yourselves codenames and post them with the wish lists, so gifts can be labelled without names.
Each week before the party there is a «something» round: a small gift that fits the theme, within the budget.
On the party day, give the main gift; the monito or monita guesses who you are before the reveal.
Agree on the budget for each round and the main gift before the draw, and stick to it.
