Wage Order No. NCR-28: approved 7 September 2026, published 11 September 2026, effective 26 September 2026. +₱60.00 per day; new rates ₱755.00 (non-agriculture) and ₱718.00 (agriculture; service/retail with 15 workers or less; manufacturing with less than 10 workers). The rates are for normal working hours not exceeding 8 hours a day (Section 3).

Who is covered: minimum wage earners in the private sector in Metro Manila (Section 4). If you already earn more than the new minimum, the Wage Order does not raise your pay by itself; a gap that becomes too small between pay levels is a "wage distortion" and is handled under Article 124 of the Labor Code.

Wage distortion: with a union and a CBA — grievance procedure, then voluntary arbitration; without a union — the National Conciliation and Mediation Board, then the NLRC after 10 calendar days of conciliation. A distortion dispute does not delay the increase itself (Labor Code, Art. 124, as amended by R.A. 6727).

Your own deadline: money claims arising from employment must be filed within three (3) years from the time the cause of action accrued (Labor Code, Art. 291, renumbered Art. 306). Each unpaid payday counts on its own; do not wait.

Proof of delivery: keep the "received" copy, the registry receipt, or the sent e-mail.
